TKT/Teacher Development Course

How’s your teaching? Do you feel stuck in a rut? Need new ideas? The British Council TKT/Teacher Development course could be just the TicKeT!

In this intensive 32-hour-course for new teachers, we’ll be taking a look at what we all do in the classrooms and exploring the different approaches we can take. You’ll have a chance to examine how you approach these areas in your classroom, make innovations to your teaching, and share your experiences with other course participants.

We’ll also help you to prepare for the core modules of the Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) – a three-module examination of knowledge about the teaching of English to speakers of other languages, and also the additional Knowledge about Language module. Preparation for TKT Practical module can be arranged separately for a minimum of 5 candidates.

You can find out more about the TKT Test here.

You don’t have to take the exams at the end of the course, but if you do, your experienced course trainers will make sure that you are well prepared for them.

Who is the TKT / Teacher Development Course for?
