You are invited to submit your completed and signed Oral Examiner Nomination Form and clear copies of supporting documents such as diplomas and /or certificates to prove: your education to first degree; TESOL qualifications and/or teaching experience; your English language proficiency if your first language is not English (see the MPRs for non-native ESOL OE below).

Only suitable applicants whose application package is complete with all supporting documents will be contacted by us and invited to attend an OE induction/training sessions.

We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of IELTS examiners. We are receiving applications now. Deadline to apply is Thursday 21 July any time. Please save your application in the following way: "IELTS Examiner Application and your name” and send it with the relevant documents to anamaria.martinez@britishcouncil.org.co.
It is critical that the application form be returned and properly filled out by the deadline. Improperly filled out applications will not be considered.
IELTS band 9 as a proof of language proficiency is required for non-native speakers of English only.
Do not apply if you do not meet the minimum requirements and are not entitled to work in Colombia.
The training for successful applicants is scheduled for 16t, 17 and 18 August from 0900 to 1700. The first day and a half is for Speaking and the second and a half day is for the Writing session.

The CAAi EALTS exam is a multi-level English for Aviation language testing system design to assess language proficiency at all levels of the ICAO Language Proficency Rating Score (Pre-Elementary Level 1 to Expert level 6). The Testing System assesses the English language skills of speaking and listening in the context of aviation an aeronautical radiotelephone communications.
On 2011 we evaluate over 700 pilots from important airlines such as Avianca, Aires and controllers from the Aeronáutica Civil. Our sessions are held once a week on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 1:30 approximately.
