100 Words Project
Carrying the legacy of the Olympic Games from Beijing 2008 to London 2012, 100 Words invited young people from both China and Britain to create a script using no more than 100 words or Chinese characters. 100 Words returned to Beijing on 7 July to run a week long workshop with participants from the Beijing Dramatists Association. 100 word plays written and rehearsed during the week were showcased to an invited audience on Saturday 12 July at 9 Theatre in Chaoyang District. 2007 Pearl River International Poetry Festival

The UK poet Bill Herbert has been invited to attend the in Guangzhou, which will be held from 15 to 16 September. The Festival is being co-organised by the British Council in association with Zhujiang Real Estate Company.

Science as Story Telling——The 12th Beijing International Book Fair

We joined the 12th Beijing International Book Fair from 1-5 September with a display of 96 carefully selected popular books that were written by British authors under the theme of Science and Literature. This project is part of the China-UK Partners in Science Initiative.
