What is the Myanmar-UK Alumni Network?
The Myanmar-UK Alumni Network is a social and professional network designed and developed by the British Council for Myanmar nationals who have completed courses and programmes by studying either in the UK for at least three months or outside the UK as long as their qualifications are awarded by UK colleges or universities.
By creating the network we aim to strengthen old friendships and create new opportunities for social networking and professional development among UK alumni.
Who is eligible to join the network?
Anyone who has completed a first degree, masters, research, or diploma/certificate programme (which must have lasted at least three months minimum) in the UK, is eligible to join the network. Also eligible are those who have completed courses and programmes outside the UK (including Myanmar) but their final awards are issued by UK colleges or universities. These include those who studied and completed their UK qualifications at branch campuses or by distance learning or studying twinning programmes.
