Cambridge exams

Improve your English for travel, education, and work    

If you want to develop your English skills, we can help you, whatever your level, and whatever your reason. Whether you want to improve your job prospects, gain entry to a UK university, make traveling easier or help your children learn English, we have a Cambridge exam to suit you.

General English
You can take general Cambridge English exams with us at one of five levels; each level will test your English skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. We can also help you apply and prepare for the exam.

Business English
If you are learning Business English, the Business English Certificate (BEC) exams are for you. BEC exams focus on the application of language in world business situations. There are three BEC levels. Each level concentrates on reading, writing, listening and speaking. Find out how to register and take BEC exams with us.

Legal English
You are a lawyer or study law and need an evidence of your ability to work effectively in an international legal context, you could take the International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) at our centre. The examination lasts approximately four hours and tests all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking

Financial English
If you are considering a career in finance or are about to embark on studying towards an accounting or finance qualification, the International Certificate in Financial English will be a valuable addition to your CV.

Young Learners tests
Encourage your children to take one of the three available tests for young learners: Starters, Movers and Flyers. The tests aim to sample relevant and meaningful language use, measure ability accurately and fairly, present a positive impression of international tests. How can I prepare for the exam?
You can prepare yourself for the exams by attending preparatory courses at our Teaching Centre in Sofia or at other language schools and centres, by private lessons or by self-study. If you want to familiarize yourself with the format of your chosen exam, preparation textbooks, handbooks and sample materials are available for you to use at our information centre in Sofia.

The recommended textbooks for the exams can be obtained locally from the local booksellers of CUP, OUP, Longman, Heinemann, etc. Sample papers and further exam details are also available on the Cambridge website.
