In our arts programme we aim to increase awareness of contemporary culture from the United Kingdom, principally among younger informed Bulgarians and to enhance the reputation of the United Kingdom as a valued partner. We encourage Bulgarian arts practitioners to explore and appreciate the contemporary UK repertoire.

All our art and creative industries projects are planned and delivered in partnership with Bulgarian institutions, organisations and promoters. We identify UK partners for the collaborative projects with the professional advice of our British Council colleagues in the Arts Department in London.
