IELTS TEST DATES AND LOCATIONS

You can now take IELTS in Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse and Strasbourg.

We are currently running IELTS tests in seven locations across France: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

All registrations are centralised in the British Council offices in Paris. For all informations, please contact the British Council in Paris only.

You can take IELTS tests at various dates throughout the year in those five locations. Details of the exact location of the test (address) as well as the timetable will be provided in your notification letter.

The IELTS test in France is the 'Pen and paper' version.

If there are a minimum number of students who wish to take the IELTS test we may be able to administer the test in your institution. For more details, please contact us at ielts@britishcouncil.fr

SPEAKING TEST

Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Strasbourg and Toulouse The speaking test takes place on Saturday afternoon (on the date indicated in the table below).
Paris Please note that the speaking test takes place on the same day as the written tests (i.e. on Saturday afternoon), or on the day before (Friday). The dates of the written tests are indicated in the table below. Please make sure that you are available on both Friday and Saturday when you choose your date.
Institutions Speaking tests take place in the week before or after the date of your written tests, or on Saturday afternoon. Your institution will make sure that it fits in with your timetable.

The IELTS test take place at the Espace SEFOREX, 97 rue Jean Jaurès 92300 LEVALLOIS (metro line 3: Louise Michel or Anatole France; train from St Lazare to Gare de Clichy or bus 53 or 174 - bus stop: Trezel). For all applications and information requests, please contact the British Council Paris directly.

For the locations below, a minimum number of candidates are required in order for the test to take place. In the exceptional case that the test is postponed, we will contact you to offer you an alternative.
