Make sure that the institution where you have chosed to study is recognised by the UK authorities, by visiting this Department for Innovation, Univerties and Skills website.   

UCAS       
UCAS is the UK Universities and Colleges Admission Service, and is the central organisation that processes applications for full-time undergraduate courses at UK universities and colleges. Application forms are available on-line and it has an extensive course search facility   

HERO       
The Higher Education and Research Opportunities in the UK (HERO) website is a gateway to the UK's universities, colleges and research oganisations. You can get access to information on UK universities and colleges for undergraduate and postgraduate studies as well as extensive information on academic research.   

The Quality Assurance Agency       
The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) reviews standards and quality of higher education institutes in the UK. This website provides reports on higher education institutes which can be downloaded.   

Prospects       
Prospects is the UK's official graduate careers website and is packed full of information including a section on postgraduate courses and research.
