We continued developing the local pool of trainers and strengthening skills of civil servants in the second year of the project (2009/10). Topics and activities delivered in 2009 were Professional Trainer Development, two-day Institutional PR and Media Training and intensive EU Conferences and Debates training. In addition, we will continue to develop the local trainers who will attend training sessions in the above areas.
1. Professional Trainer Development 29 September – 1 October 2009Trainers:
Mira Komlenović and Larisa Halilović, Senior Trainers, British Council, Sarajevo and Dženana Hodžić, Trainer, Directorate of European Integration
Impact:
12 local trainers successfully completed the course and were awarded with certificates
Key learning aim:
to refresh the knowledge related to training techniques relevant for working with the civil servants actively involved in international cooperation and Euro-Atlantic integrationsCourse content:

Impact:
20 civil-servants directly involved in dealing with media in BiH institutions successfully completed the course and were awarded with certificates

To develop skills and techniques involved in working with PR and giving broadcast and print media interviews
