We Sit Starving Amidst Our GoldJeremy Deller at the British Pavilion, Venice 2013
The British Council is delighted to present English Magic, a new exhibition by Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller, conceived and created for the British Pavilion at the 55th International Art Exhibition in Venice. The exhibition reflects the roots of much of Deller’s work, focusing on British society, addressing events from the past, present and an imagined future. After Venice, audiences will be able to view English Magic within its national UK tour.

Atlas of the Unbuilt WorldLondon Festival of Architecture 2013
The British Council’s international exhibition for the London Festival of Architecture 2013, Atlas of the Unbuilt World, will open at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London this June. The exhibition aims to chart the architectural future of the 30 countries represented by featuring more than 50 architectural models gathered from across the globe.

The British Council has launched an open call for exhibition proposals for the British Pavilion at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition. The title of the 2014 Biennale is 'Fundamentals' and calls on national pavilions to respond to the theme: Absorbing Modernity: 1914-2014. Submissions close 21 June 2013.
