ARTISTIC POLICY
Volcano is an original voice in theatre. Volcano provokes and invigorates with performance that is dissenting, unpredictable and robust. Volcano is radical and contemporary, reflecting and affirming Wales’s place at the nexus of new countries that make up modern Europe. The company’s repertoire includes experimental new writing and devised work, iconoclastic re-workings or deconstructions of the classics, and site-specific festival pieces.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘This challenging, charismatic and suitably unclassifiable production leaves us in no doubt that books matter.’ The Guardian ()

‘A show so strange that this water-drenched weirdness is an hour of intelligent insanity well worth catching.’ The Vancouver Sun (

‘Volcano’s breakneck piece of cut-and-paste Shakespeare is uniformly captivating. A sharp, witty mix of kitsch and solemnity.’ Venue Magazine ()
