ARTISTIC POLICY
Upswing works with the human body to tell stories of people, their culture, and the world we all share, combining aerial vocabulary with theatrical performance, music, dance, and the imaginative use of visual imagery. Upswing challenges assumptions of identity, place, and our relationship with each other by literally turning the world upside down.

‘Equating sex, riding, freedom and flying (with terrific input from aerial experts, Upswing), this is one hell of a sexy ride.’ The Guardian ()

Based on the fairytale, looks at how what people say about us can effect who we are. With an integrated cast of disabled and non-disabled performers, using Chinese Pole, suitable for outdoors. (2 on stage, 5 on the road.)
