ARTISTIC POLICY
Marc Rees is an interdisciplinary artist with a track record for delivering ground breaking, provocative and risk taking projects, and a reputation as an accomplished artist and visionary site-responsive curator. His creative process draws on sculpture, dance, film and design, devising work across different artforms. Although diverse in its formal manifestations, Rees’ practice has, from the outset, concerned itself with the relationship between body and space. Most recently, this has led him to develop a number of more architecture-driven artworks.

‘A declaration of love; a story about longing, helplessness and grief.’ Berliner Zeitung ()

‘Each room, each corridor holds dreamlike yet disturbing scenes that seem to have come straight out of a Buñuel film.’ El Pais ()
