ARTISTIC POLICY
Punchdrunk are the acknowledged pioneers of a new form of immersive theatre in which roaming audiences experience epic storytelling inside deeply atmospheric, theatrical worlds. Blending classic texts, award-winning design installation and extraordinary sites, the company’s infectious format transports the viewer from the passive familiarity of conventional theatre to a state of activated imagination.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Shakespeare’s told through the lens of a Hitchcock thriller. Suitable for performance in any, large disused building. (3 hours continuous looped performance, 17 performers, 4-piece band, some performers can be recruited locally, 20 on the road, contains nudity.)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
Punchdrunk has several major new productions planned for 2010 through to 2012. Contact the company for further information.

WRAP-AROUND
Residencies, master classes and practical workshops in immersive theatre processes, physical text, contact improvisation and installation design for all ages 14+. Opportunities for local artists, students and community volunteers to be involved in design and installation, supporting performer roles and event management.
