ARTISTIC POLICY
Power Plant is an intriguing collection of sound and light installations by various artists. The result forms a strangely beautiful night-time journey through a landscape, which explores the relationship between sound, light and the garden environment.

The installations uses a variety of approaches from video and electronic sound to modifications of old gramophones, moving speakers, sound sources hidden in the undergrowth, circular saw blades played like gongs and balloons filled with tuned harmonicas that whisper an eerie melancholic requiem.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Power Plant’s ingeniously playful array of electronic stunts kinetic sculptures and musical sound effects sprung a series of delightful surprises.’ Sunday Times

‘An eclectic feast of nature and technology. Flashes of neon, shadowy projections and sudden bursts of firefly radiance.’ The Guardian

‘Hijacking your intellect as well as your senses, Power Plant is the stuff of your most bizarre, dreamy dreams.’ Metro
