ARTISTIC POLICY
Hoipolloi creates a wide variety of original new work approaching theatre with an inventive spirit. The company playfully mixes live performance with other media, making refreshing shows that are deliberately accessible, entertaining a wide audience.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Hugh Hughes’s comic and beautiful tale of the island that floated away. Total Theatre Award 2006. (80 mins no interval, 2 on stage, 4 on the road.)

Hugh Hughes tells his funny yet poignantly moving story of death and a rabbit. Fringe First Award 2007. (80 mins, no interval, 2 on stage, 4 on the road.)

A comic story of friendship, first love and the sculpture of the excitement of building the dam. Three Weeks Editor’s Award 2008. (75 mins, no interval, 1 on stage, 2 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Hugh Hughes Bringing together and with a fun and fantastical mix of additional events and online content. (Times vary, 3 on stage, 6 on the road.)

Hugh Hughes returns to his childhood on Anglesey with a marvellous mixture of memories and random recollections.

WRAP-AROUND
Hoipolloi are able to undertake a wide variety of wrap-around activities where appropriate. This can include workshops (on comedy, improvisation and getting things wrong), residencies, masterclasses and post-performance discussions. Like the productions, these are all suitable for a wide age range and both amateur and professional audiences. Further details are available on request.
