ARTISTIC POLICY
good cop bad cop creates artwork for a variety of contexts and locations, combining skills in photography, video, performance and text. Drawing on both historical and contemporary themes and references, performances frequently push the performers physical endurance to their limits.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Phantom Ride elevates the art of the unreliable narrator to a new level – its very unreliability is unreliable… clever, funny and filled with deadpan charm.’ Metro

‘The spectators are implicated in the discovery of the unknown within their familiar environment… a novel idea, the experience is unexpected and original.’ La Presse, Montreal

‘Difficult to define and impossible to categorise, which is the sign of a creative and unique production.’ Vibes

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Theoretical performance constructed in real time through a process of mutual cross examination, interrogation, coaxing and suggestion. (70 mins, no interval, 2 on stage, 3 on road.)

Based on the life and lost works of pioneering film-maker William Haggar. (70 mins, no interval, 3 on stage, 4 on the road.)

WRAP-AROUND
Workshops, seminars, exhibition and lectures may form part of the group's presentations. We are keen to undertake residencies and to collaborate with professional and amateur practitioners. Our workshop, ‘In All Languages’ concentrates on developing a structured physical language and how this can be articulated and mediated to produce performances. We are keen to train local performers to be able to participate with us in our existing and new collaborative productions.
