REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Using only his body and his voice, Berkoff carves out his poem as if assembling it before our eyes… Go and see this performance.’ Edinburgh Evening News ()

'Berkoff never offers just a character but paints a whole culture in local, lurid detail. Don’t miss.’ What’s On ()

‘Berkoff once again commands the stage with his formidable talent.’ The Stage ()

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
A poem written to pay homage to the unknown victims, such as the window cleaner Roko Camaj, who died in the 9/11 tragedy. (60 mins, no interval.)

Berkoff’s exploration and analysis of Shakespeare’s most villainous characters – Iago, the Macbeths, Shylock, Richard III; characters who are inherently evil, whose situation leads them to evil deeds, or who are at the mercy of an evil society. (120 mins plus interval.)

Comprises three character studies, exploring in turn the mind-set of a murderer wracked with guilt, a thespian struggling to make his name, and a mindless soccer hooligan complete with pit bull terrier. (First half, A Tell Tale Heart, 45 mins; second half, Actor & Dog, 40 mins.)
