ARTISTIC POLICY
Amici integrates performers with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, and mental health problems with able-bodied dancers, actors, and musicians in dance- and theatre-based workshops and performances. Amici’s artistic team runs workshop residencies, student placements and performances throughout the year, and all over the world.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Created by Amici Dance Theatre Company. A full company production. A thought-provoking and beautiful piece fusing music, dance and text. (65 mins with interval, 40 on stage, 44 on the road.)

Choreographed by Amici’s artistic director Wolfgang Stange. How does difference affect us? Should we ignore it, nurture it or even get rid of it? (20 mins, 14 on stage, 18 on the road.)

FUTURE PRODUCTION
Tightrope Amici’s 30th anniversary show will premiere at the Lyric main house in June 2010.

WRAP-AROUND
Amici regularly give workshops, post-performance discussions, residencies and masterclasses. These give an insight into the workings of Wolfgang Stange and integrated dance/theatre.

a 90-minute film documenting the history and unique working practices of Amici, which will educate and enable students and arts practitioners, will be available to purchase along with a written word resource pack in 2010.
