British Films Catalogue Online
This is our illustrated online database on the britfilms.com website containing details of the latest British films - plus an archive of previous years. You can browse the catalogue by features, shorts, documentaries or animation. Alternatively, you can search the catalogue by title, director, genre, year, plot synopsis, cast, production company and crew.
If you would like to submit a new entry for inclusion in the next edition of the British Films catalogue, please complete the online form. The information provided is collated annually for publication in our British Films Catalogue.
This section of Britfilms.com lists British feature films in progress, prior to their inclusion in the British Films Catalogue. It lists a film's director, producers, screenwriter, cast, sales agent and production status. You can browse or search by title, director, producer or sales agent. You can also find films by their stage of production by searching for 'shooting', 'post', 'pre' or 'development'.

Our comprehensive directory of British film directors. You can search through the directory, or browse the list of entries alphabetically by surname.
Directory of International Film Festivals
Our indispensable directory for film, video and programme makers, giving details of how and when to submit work to over 1000 events around the world. Entries are listed alphabetically by country and give the following details: deadline, category of films accepted, technical requirements, awards offered, fees payable, administrative addresses.

Annual catalogues of new work from Britain have been produced by the British Council since 1980. Catalogues from 1998 onwards are now available online at Britfilms.com (see description above), with synopses, credits and contact details for all UK productions.
A paperback version of the catalogue is published annually and available free of charge from the British Council. If you would like a copy posted to you, please send a stamped (£2.20), self-addressed, padded A4 envelope to:
