Tamara Lisenberg was born, lives, and works in Buenos Aires. A 2004 industrial design graduateof the University of Buenos Aires, she owns and operates a design studio. Her jewellery pieces are complimented by prior professional experience in metalwork, pottery, and photography.
She has represented Argentina in worldwide exhibitions and shows, where her work has garnered several awards and mentions.
The contemporary jewellery products of her brand are manufactured entirely with sterling silver. Tamara often fuses the base product with different materials, such as semi-precious stones, clay, leather, wool, bronze, nickel silver, magnets, bamboo, silk and wood.
She is currently developing collections of fashion accessories using sustainable products. Raw materials that are typically disregarded by the textile and semi-industrial industries are given new life inhergreen collections, called Project Bamboo, REfeliz, REflorece and REimantada.
Additionally, all of Tamara’s designsemploy both traditional and industrial elements. Each piece is handmade, conveying warmth and poetic resonance. Mostaccessories are highly customizable,allowing the wearer to express personalized, unique style.
Products are sold in design stores as well as in museum shops and avant-garde boutiques, both domestically and worldwide, including Malba, SFMoMA, MoMA NY, SAM Seattle and MCA Chicago.
