Connecting Classrooms in Argentina

Connecting Classrooms is a global British Council programme - the UK's international organization for promoting educational opportunities and cultural relations. The programme offers free teacher training, online educational resources and the opportunity to participate in collaborative projects with students, connecting with peers in schools across the UK and worldwide.

In the 2012 edition of Connecting Classrooms Argentina, the classroom participants  work in English on two main themes: Olympic Games London 2012 (first quarter) and Climate Change (second semester). The programme is for English teachers and students of primary and secondary schools of public, social and private administration.

Collaborative work on joint projects contributing to enrich the curriculum, valuing cultural diversity and learn about their own culture, improve communication skills, motivation and development of ICT skills among the young participants. In addition, this programme gives our students the opportunity to learn English in contact with students from other regions, so playful and fun.
