About Diego
Diego is a 29-year-old Information Technology engineer (ITBA, 2007). He is taking a postgraduate course in Industrial Biotechnology (UBA — to be finished in July 2012) and is passionate about renewable energy. He works at Energizar Foundation, which he co-founded.
About his project
Energizar is an Argentine foundation created in 2010 to contribute to sustainable human development through research, development and the promotion of renewable energy. It uses its knowledge, developments and projects to facilitate access to low-cost clean energy sources in any part of the world.
The foundation supports the research and development of technologies for alternative energy sources, promotes projects that seek to minimize environmental risks, and contributes to sustainable development. It transmits to the community the knowledge, values, attitudes, commitment and skills necessary to protect and improve the environment.
It also provides tools and information so all of us can identify practices that are harmful to the environment and take responsible action in its transformation and improvement.
