Media and Politics
Regulation, responsibility and the future of political communication was the third in a series of events examining the relationship between media and politics, and its impact on public trust.
This event held in London on January 22-23rd 2008 looked at regulation and responsibility in politics and journalism.The event brought together politicians and journalists from UK from the UK with their counterparts from countries of South East Europe. Albania was represented by Mr. Fatbardh Kadilli, Advisor in Anti Corruption issues, Prime Minister’s Office.
Skills@Work – Policy Dialogue
Key influencers in Vocational Education and Training from South East Europe and Central South Asia participated in the “Meeting Global Skills Needs – Employer engagement in education and training” event held in London on February 10th to 14th 2008. Read more
Skills@Work – College Partnership
Two representatives of the UK’s Bradford College, Patricia Stephens, Deputy Head International Centre and Angela Forsey, Curriculum Team Leader visited their partner school, the Economic High School in Tirana during February. Read more
National Team of Trainers
15 representatives of the English Language Teachers’ Association of Albania (ELTA) were selected from many applicants by the board of ELTA to form the National Team of Trainers (NTT) in the English language. Read more
Youth! Sport! Action! Training Event
19-21 February 2008
This training event, held in Tirana was the follow up to a more action –based first phase which was concluded last August. Five countries from South East Europe, Albania, Greece, Israel, Macedonia and Turkey and the UK brought together some of the most outstanding partner organisations from each country. Read more

Every month, the education officer will facilitate a two hour seminar which will lead you through all stages of selecting, applying for and attending a good course in the UK.
