Note that the letter A stands for Academic Module and G for General Module.

Please note that for each IELTS test date there are limited seats available for both modules!

Fee and documents required for IELTS test REGISTRATION

Registering for the IELTS test with us is easy. You can take the IELTS test in the British Council in Tirana .

Starting from 1st September 2010 you can register in one of two ways: by post or in person.

Register by post

Registration by post can be done by sending all required documents to our address Rr. Perlat Rexhepi, Pall. 197 “Ana”, Tirana, by post.

Before you apply, please contact us by e-mail ( examsalbania@britishcouncil.org)  or by phone 00355 4 2240856/7 ext.2203) to check if there are still available places for the test date you wish to apply.

Register in person

After you have selected the date, you need to come to our office and bring the required documents with you to the British Council, Rr. Perlat Rexhepi, Pall. 197 “Ana”, Tirana (opposite Republican Guard headquarters), every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 14:00 to 16:00

Documents required for IELTS test REGISTRATION

Application Form (in case you cannot print it from our webpage we can provide you with a copy in the British Council office)
copy of passport or National ID(if applicable)  
2 recent identical passport-sized photographs (not more than 6 months old)
Your payment bank receipt. The exam fee is 140 Euro and is paid to Intesa San Paolo Bank.

Payment Details

Pay the test fee by bank transfer or cach using these payment details. Please download and complete the IELTS Payment form before paying the test fee. Save your transfer receipt for proof of payment.

When we receive your completed and signed IELTS Application Form together with all the attached required documents, we will give you confirmation of your test date with further instructions for the test day.

TEST RESULTS

You will get the test results within 13 days after the test. We can send up to 5 additional copies to the institutions of your choice. Please note that we cannot give results over the telephone, by fax or e-mail.

Please note that starting from 1st of May 2006 you are allowed to repeat the test whenever you want either in Albania or at any other IELTS test centre.

IELTS certificate is valid for two years.
