BritTeen Adventure Summer Camps
Would you like to offer your children an unforgettable experience this summer holiday? What if they could practise their English while having fun and developing practical skills?
British Council invites secondary school pupils to register for one of the three BritTeen Adventure camps this summer, which will take place during the following periods:
Accommodation will be provided at the three-star pension Floarea Soarelui in Cheia resort, in rooms for 2 or 3 children with en-suite bathroom and balcony. The rooms are equipped with central heating, TV, telephone, hair dryer and the facilities available include internet access, radio and a restaurant.
For each camp there are 20 places available. Registrations for the BritTeen Adventure Summer Camp will be made during British Council’s Customer Services working hours and will end 5 days before the starting date of each camp (19 June, 17 July, respectively 14 August). Fill in the registration form and either send it by email (scanned version), if paying by bank transfer, or come to our office in Calea Dorobantilor nr 14 with the printed version.

Send proof of payment by e-mail, together with the filled out registration form at contact@britishcouncil.ro.
In the morning of the departure, you will have to bring a standard medical certificate for camps from the child's doctor. The transport is provided by the British Council and is included in the fee. There will be 3 meals and 2 snacks provided daily, also covered by the registration fee.
The camps will include the following workshops:
June: In focus (with Alex Popovici) and Improvising (with Lavinia Carcu)Thus, BritTeen Adventure Summer Camp will merge practicing English through skill focused activities with hands-on fun, adventure and trivia games. Your children will develop their language and social skills through practical workshops, as well as enjoy the impressive natural surroundings through hiking trips, treasure hunts and many more interactive activities.
Spring module of BritTeen
The BritTeen club’s main objective is to help the participants to improve their personal and social abilities by practising English.
The BritTeen sessions will take place on the following dates:

April: 7, 28Each child can register for one or two workshops.
The registration fee for one workshop is 250 lei (220 lei for siblings) and can be paid directly at the British Council, during the registration period. Continuing members also receive discounts. There is a limited number of 16 seats for each workshop!

BritTeen workshops
This spring, the BritTeen club invited you to register for new and very interesting workshops on themes ranging from logic, storytelling, comics, creative writing, etiquette and manners, origami and many more!
A workshop lasts one and a half hours and the participants can attend one or two workshops.

The teachers who lead the BritTeen activities are selected based on the British Council professional standards. The BritTeen members enjoy a free library membership during the whole period of their studies. Those wishing to become BritTeen members must possess knowledge of English at an intermediate level.
But apart from BritTeen, the British Council has also created a conversation club for adults.
