Au Loin Une Ile« Au Loin Une Ile » est une exposition conçue par deux commissaires/curatrices françaises, Vanessa Desclaux et Marie Canet, qui travaillent toutes les deux entre la France et le Royaume-Uni. L’exposition propose une fenêtre sur la scène artistique britannique contemporaine à travers le thème de «l’île » et tout ce qu’elle représente : une réalité géographique, une position, un exile, un exotisme, un ailleurs …
Les œuvres de plus de dix artistes différents, incluant Jessica Warboys, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Bethan Huws, Susan Hiller, Gail Pickering et Ian Kiaer sont exposées dans une espace unique à la Fondation d'entreprise Ricard. L'exposition durera du 10 janvier au 11février, et donne une perspective renouvellée sur la scène britannique de l'art contemporaine.
Au Loin Une Ile is an exhibition by two young French curators, Vanessa Desclaux and Marie Canet, both of whom are working between France and the UK.
