ARTISTIC POLICY
Rifco Arts produces vibrant, accessible, high-quality theatre that reflects and celebrates the contemporary British Asian experience, with a focus on enticing and engaging new audiences. As a multicultural theatre company we aim to: tour entertaining and thought provoking theatre locally, regionally and nationally; develop exciting projects within the local community; explore the synergy between British Asians and their culture and heritage; enrich our work through developing collaborations and partnerships.

The Deranged Marriage The audience are guests in this toe tapping, heart-wrenching celebration! In the midst of the spectacular saris, Rishi and Sona’s cold feet threaten to enter the wedding mandap. (110 mins plus interval, 11 on stage, 14 on the road.)
Meri Christmas An entertaining and thought-provoking exploration of the shifting trends which have led to more Asian elders being removed from their families to live in homes for the elderly. (100 mins plus interval, 4 on stage, 6 on the road.)
There's Something About Simmy A story exploring family, friendship, and fate – with a hint of Bollywood. Simmy was meant to bring good fortune to her unlucky in-laws but the groom has run away! (115 mins plus interval, 10 on stage, 15 on the road.)
