ARTISTIC POLICY
Ridiculusmus produces unconventional, innovative and accessible theatre. Work is created, written and performed by David Woods and Jon Haynes. The company makes ‘seriously funny’ and deadly serious theatre. Ridiculusmus’ working method is about creating the nothingness where expression can take place. Ridiculusmus are inspired by Samuel Beckets’ last words on theatre: ‘To find a form that accommodates the mess, that is the task of the artist now.’

The Audience witness the rehearsal process that is supposedly leading to the only performance: a presentation to the High Court as evidence of a conspiracy... (8–9 on the road.)
Total Football (working title) An attempt to galvanise British identity by winning a gold medal in the soccer competition with a super team at the London Olympics in 2012. (3–4 on the road.)
