Ransom Productions produces groundbreaking new writing for a diverse audience, often using music and dance to create an exhilarating theatre experience. Ransom works with exceptional writers and performers and pushes the boundaries of new writing for the stage.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
The Gentlemen’s Tea Drinking Society by Richard Dormer. A black comedy about quantum mechanics, mid-life crises and the end of the world, from the talented Richard Dormer. (80 mins, one interval. 4 on stage, 6 on the road, strong language.)

Transparency by Suzie Miller. Explores life in the aftermath of crime. A boy commits a terrible act of violence on a younger child; as a grown man, how much can he forgive himself? (90 mins, one interval. 5 on the stage, 8 on the road, contains strong language and some sexually explicit content.)

WRAP-AROUND
Workshops available for all productions with playwright and director on developing new writing with an interactive, focused and outcome driven format. Suitable for professionals/amateurs (workshops tailored to suit group). Masterclasses available with Richard Dormer and Rachel O’Riordan on voice, movement and devising work. These can be targeted at a variety of age and abilities. Post-show discussion and Q&A available with the cast on all shows.
