ARTISTIC POLICY
Pip Utton produces and tours simply presented, accessible theatre, usually from new writing, for a target audience age of 16+. Pip aims to entertain, move, stimulate, and challenge audiences, often breaking through the fourth wall to directly engage the audience mentally and emotionally with the performance. Pip wants to encourage the exercise of an audience’s ‘grey cells’ and reinforce the enjoyment and appreciation of the power of live theatre.

‘The master of the controversial one man show, Pip Utton turns his attention to Francis Bacon. Absolutely unmissable.’ Daily Telegraph

‘He really is, as The Guardian described him, “the master of the one-man show” young pretenders should take time to see his show to learn how it should be done.’ The British Theatre Guide (Chaplin)
