ARTISTIC POLICY
Paul Granjon has developed a performance lecture format where he describes the state of his research in the co-evolution of humans and machines. He explains and demonstrates homemade robotic contraptions, accompanied by songs and video. The multi-layered content is delivered with deadpan humour.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘Granjon’s robotic and videographic performances, an art of happiness.’ Guy Sioui Durand, Revue Inter, Canada

‘Each of his robots is a “semi-naturaloid”, which gives them an attaching humorous aspect.’ Romina Calò, D’Land, Luxemburg

‘Whether watching Paul Granjon perform with his cast of crazy robots or entering the strange world of his gallery installations you know you’re in for a treat.’ Western Mail

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Black Box Ni Paul Granjon presents the latest developments of his research on the co-evolution of humans and machines, demonstrating several robots. A mysterious electronic black box sometimes takes over, disrupting the show.

B.O.R.N. Prune Machine Glitz A collaborative piece with Davida Hewlett and Tom Hobson. The B.O.R.N. trio delivers choreographed songs and active reflections in an attempt to defeat contemporary feelings of gloom and doom.
