ARTISTIC POLICY
Northern Ballet Theatre (NBT) is a touring narrative dance company whose distinctive blend of classical dance and theatre is renowned for captivating new audiences. NBT’s productions mix classical dance and theatre, embracing popular culture and taking inspiration from literature, opera or giving unique interpretations of popular classical ballets.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Peter Pan NBT’s production includes all the exciting elements of this enchanting story, along with magical puppets and spectacular feats of flying. (122 mins including interval, family show.)

Dangerous Liasions A powerful dance adaptation of Laclos’ classic novel, which tells a story of sexual power, depravity, cruelty and deceit in 18th century France. (115 mins includinginterval, ages 12+.)

Romeo & Juliet This faithful interpretation of Shakespeare’s timeless tale of boy meets girl is an unforgettable theatrical experience. (144 mins, including 2 intervals, all ages.)

The Nutcracker A seasonal favourite told in a traditional way set in the Regency period. (113 mins including interval, family show.)

Wuthering Heights The story of the powerful relationship between Catherine Earnshaw and the foundling Heathcliff; their lives inexorably linked for eternity in a darkly haunting tale. (120 mins including interval, all ages.)

FUTURE PRODUCTIONS
Swan Lake Set in New England in the early 20th century, a wealthy college boy finds himself struggling to cope as his relationships with his closest friends, Odilia and Simon, begin to change. (160 mins, including 2 intervals, all ages.)
