ARTISTIC POLICY
Her practice, both wilfully interdisciplinary and entirely undisciplined, stems from a visual art background; it employs performance, biotechnical practices and writing with which to consider, create and speculate on reconfigurations around the body. It uniquely involves and spans contexts and activities between the visual arts, live art, biological arts, emerging media and dance.

REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘There are no expletives strong enough to begin this post. Holy shit? Stop the blog presses? They just don't do it justice… As David Khang said, "Beautiful. And brutal".’ Shawna Dempsy, Visualeyez 2008 blog

‘Kira O’Reilly’s re-interpretation of Duchamp’s Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2 (1912) was conceptually interesting and physically remarkable, as she retained precision control for three hours, whilst slowly tumbling naked down the stairs.’ Kathy Noble, Frieze Magazine

‘The best were the most simple. Kira O’Reilly falls exquisitely slowly down the staircase.’ Rachel Campbell-Johnston, The Times

WRAP-AROUND
Bespoke workshops and artist talks for professional artists, makers and students across the visual arts, drama and performance, dance and emerging media. These include workshops, talks and discussion relating to performance works, biological arts practices and writing.
