ARTISTIC POLICY
Duckie produces Event Culture: audience interactive performance shows that blur the boundaries between theatre, nightclubs and new mode pop and arty show business. Duckie are ‘purveyors of progressive working class entertainment’, who mix live art and light entertainment. They fuse arthouse and experimental theatre practice with popular entertainment forms to create accessible and challenging performance events. Defining the post-gay movement, Duckie provides a creative forum for alternative gay and lesbian performance and culture.
