REVIEW EXTRACTS
‘A clever little show that is an intimate, scary experience for an audience of one and simultaneously a spectacle for many.’ The Guardian (Little Box of Horrors)
‘Bootworks Theatre was one of the great pleasures of this year's Latitude Festival... a delicious performance.’ The Guardian (Une Boîte Andalouse)
‘Salvador Dali and Luis Bunuel would have approved… an enjoyably frantic five-minute surrealist peep-show.’ **** The Irish Times (Une Boîte Andalouse)
CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Little Box of Horrors Sit inside the box and experience a terrifying nightmare from your intimate perspective. Like an old fairground ghost train, Little Box of Horrors will have you clinging to your seat with dread. Outside the box, watch as the performers dart, creep and shift into position bringing the sinister tale and disturbing images to life. (1 audience member inside box every 5 mins, average of 50 audience outside box, for ages 14+.)
Une Boîte Andalouse A surreal reworking of Dali and Bunuel's masterpiece Un Chien Andalou, an eyeball slicing, horse-dragging treat. (Audience numbers as above.)
The Good, The Bad and The Box A parody and homage to ‘the Western' in all its forms, bringing together the spaghetti classics of Sergio Leone with a hint of the modern epics. (Audience numbers as above.)
WRAP-AROUND
