ARTISTIC POLICY
ATC aims to make fresh, bold and ambitious new productions for as wide an audience as possible. Our work is made by bringing together emerging and established artists, from both the UK and abroad. We combine contemporary playwriting with devised work and innovative productions of classic texts. We aspire to make work that is cohesive, provocative and entertaining; work that we hope everyone will want to see.

CURRENT PRODUCTIONS
The Brothers Size By Tarell Alvin McCraney, ATC/Young Vic Co-production. The Olivier Award nominated production inspired by Yoruba mythology fuses live music and choreography in Sheibani’s direction so this universal story of brotherhood is told in a compelling and innovative way. It contains some strong language. Recommended for age 14+. (85 mins without an interval, 4 on stage, 5 on the road.)
Eurydice By Sarah Ruhl, ATC, Drum Theatre Plymouth and the Young Vic. Alice in Wonderland meets Greek myth in this playfully heart-breaking American take on a timeless tale of loss, grief and redemption by the award-winning contemporary American playwright Sarah Ruhl. Recommended for age 12+. (Approximately 90 mins, 7 on stage, 9 on the road.)
FUTURE PRODUCTION
Wives and Concubines A stage adaptation by Su Tong, directed by Bijan Sheibani. Currently in development. (Also adapted into the film Raise The Red Lantern.)
