The British Council

in Germany and Europe

The British Council is the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. We build engagement and trust for the UK through the exchange of knowledge and ideas between people worldwide.

Cultural relations is the building of engagement and trust between people of different cultures through the exchange of knowledge and ideas.

In Germany and Europe, our mission is creating partnerships and networks as part of a vision of working together to build next generation Europe. We seek to do this across a range of areas which represent culture in the broadest sense.

We always like to receive feedback on our activities and on how useful this web site is for you. Please feel free to e-mail your comments and suggestions. It's nice to have good news as well as things you think we could improve!
