Penn State Behrend Dual Enrollment Program
The Dual Enrollment program allows exceptional high school students to take regular college classes at Penn State Behrend. This program is available during the school year as well as the summer. Students must have completed at least their sophomore year in high school and students who have completed their junior year will be given priority for the program.
Students participating in this program may choose from a variety of courses offered at the campus.
In the Dual Enrollment program, students may take up to eight credits per semester and receive a Dual Enrollment scholarship that covers 50% of the tuition.
Students must submit an application packet at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of class. Students who will not have completed their junior year in high school must submit their application packets at least four weeks before the start of classes. A completed application includes the application form, student information release form (PDF), high school transcript, and letter of support from the student’s high school. Students will meet with an academic advisor to choose an appropriate course based on their academic record and goals. Students must meet the prerequisites and or successfully complete any required placement tests.
