New Imaging Device Sees Behind the Eardrum

U of I News Bureau – Integrative Imaging Co-chair Stephen Boppart has developed a multipurpose medical diagnostic device for non-invasive imaging use by primary care physicians. The technology has now been successfully demonstrated for diagnosing and treating ear infections, as reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

2012 Beckman Institute Graduate Fellows Announced

URBANA, Ill. – The Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology is pleased to announce the 2012 selections for the Graduate Fellows program. Ten outstanding graduate students from the University of Illinois were selected and will begin their fellowships during the Fall 2012 semester.
