Edward McAuley is a Professor in the Departments of Kinesiology and Psychology at the University of Illinois and is a member of the Human Perception and Performance group. His primary research agenda focuses on relationships among physical activity, aging, and psychological function.

Honors: Campus Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, 2003; College of Applied Life Studies Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award, 2003; College of Applied Life Studies Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award, 2002;Arnold O. Beckman Research Award, 1994; University Scholar, University of Illinois, 1993-1996.
