Students who complete the course will learn about management skills in a global business context. The course provides students with an understanding of global business planning, risk assessment, developing and implementing a global budget, establishing and maintaining relationships with global organizations. Other topics covered will include global business planning, elements of a global business plan, external organizations that support global activities, development and implementation of a global budget, and more.

In this course, the student will learn about the process of selecting and implementing the most favorable methods of payment to support global activities. Topics covered will include: establishing financial costs and viability, foreign exchange risk mitigation techniques, most appropriate methods and terms of payment and required documentation, forms and functions of short-term and long-term financing.

The exam review course will focus on the CGBP exam and will review four core areas of competence required by NASBITE. Students will review, practice and study test taking strategies for the CGBP examination core competencies: Global Business Management, Global Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Trade Finance.
