Future Gators
(4-5 years)
The Future Gators classrooms serve children ages 4 to 5 who are preparing to enter kindergarten.
Teachers assist children with kindergarten readiness skills which include early literacy and language, basic math concepts, social interaction, problem solving, self-help skills, and decision making. Teachers employ developmentally appropriate practices, teaching children through experience, exploration, and investigation.
Future Gators Classroom
The Future Gator classrooms also offer a voluntary pre-kindergarten program (VPK) that is embedded within the morning activities and routine. Children who are 4 years-old on or before September 1st are eligible to participate.
