The College of Arts and Sciences fosters undergraduate learning in many ways. One of the most exciting techniques for teaching students is providing opportunities for each student to become the researcher or artist themselves.
Our college has a significant number of students who have been named Barry Goldwater Scholars, one of the most elite academic scholarship awards in the nation. For the second year running, three students in the College of Arts and Sciences have received the prestigious scholarship.
Our annual competition held each spring is another demonstration of our undergraduate research and creative activity opportunities.
