Get Details Do It Every University at Albany student is given a Net ID which allows them access to the MyUAlbany self service system, and the UNIX Cluster for email, creating a web page, and if appropriate to the WebCT course system. To Set your passwords, click "do it".
Email
Get Details Do It Email is used for offical communications from University offices to students. All students should initialize the University email. See details to review your options and services such as managing your space and spam, and setting forwarding.
Computers
Get Details Do It Students bring their own computers to campus or use the University computers available on campus.
Software
Get Details A wide array of software for word processing, web page creation, programming, statistical analysis among others is made available for student use.
Telecommunications Services
Get Details Data communications services are provided for all students through the computer userrooms. Internet and Optional voice services for residential students are provided through Apogee.
Getting Help
Get Details Do It The primary avenue for help with information technology problems is the ITS HelpDesk located in LC27. Call 442-3700 or submit a Help Request.
Distance Learning
Get Details Select graduate degree programs, graduate and undergradute courses are offered through the Office of Extended Learning.
Student Employment for pay and for academic credit
