Get Details Do It Every University at Albany employee is given a NetID granting access to many services including MyUAlbany, WebMail, WebCT, theUNIX Cluster, and the Windows Network. File space on both systems is also available. "Do it" to set your passwords.

Get Details All employees have access to UNIX based mail at @albany.edu using WebMail, PINE, or other mailers. Many have access to the Exchange/Outlook mail System at @uamail.albany.edu. Still others may have access to departmental mail systems.
Computer and Desktop Support
Get Details Do It Faculty and staff can get support for University owned equipment through a technology coordinator working with each office and department. PC repair services for University owned machines are available.
Software
Get Details A wide array of software for word processing, web page creation, programming, and statistical analysis is available for use in the tech classrooms, purchase, and download. Faculty may request software be made available to students in the userrooms.
Datacommunication and Telephone Services
Get Details Data jacks are available in office and classrooms, laptops may be used in classrooms, wireless in available in select areas. Any telephone requests or questions, please direct to the Telecommunications Service Center.
Classroom Support
Get Details From technology enabled classrooms, audiovisual support, video conferencing, test scoring, class management, course communication tools (BLS and LISTSERV lists), web sites, and support for distance learning, there is much available to faculty.
Research IT
Get Details Providing sophisticated, core computing and information technology services for grant seeking and funded researchers.
Training
Get Details Providing free workshops in using the technology classrooms, office products, web tools, and use if the IAS administrative systems in standard scheduled sessions or specially developed and scheduled sessions.
