Systems maintenance for everyone
All ITS supported systems undergo routine preventive maintenance. Maintenance is scheduled to disrupt the least number of people.
MyUAlbany and IAS
Get Details The system is generally available 6 am to 2:30 am. Click "get details" for a schedule of dates/times when the system will be taken down for maintenance.
University Website Maintenance
The University website at www.albany.edu may be unavailable on Mondays from 7:00 am to 8:00 am for scheduled maintenance.
UNIX Cluster Monthly Maintenance
UNIX Cluster machines are generally available round the clock. Each is briefly unavailable for rebooting the first Mon/Tues/Wed of each month as part of its regular maintenance program.
Voicemail for faculty/staff
Get Details Routine maintenance will be performed on the voicemail system every two months. During these times voicemail messages will not be collected and you will not be able to access your voicemail box.
Windows Server Patching for faculty/staff
On the Thursday after the second Tuesday of each month, several ITS Windows services (i.e. Exchange mail/calendaring and others) will be interrupted or unavailable at times between 5 pm and 8 pm while Microsoft patches are applied.
Blackboard Maintenance
Blackboard system maintenance is scheduled for the last Saturday of each month from 8 am to 1 pm. During this time, Blackboard and/or some of its features may be unavailable so please plan accordingly.
