Deadline
All required documents (application form and letter of application stating the criteria required) must be all submitted prior to any review. Application packages can be submitted throughout the entire academic year. Applicants must be enrolled during the semester the scholarship is requested or awarded.
General Information
Selected recipients will be notified within one month (30 calendar days) after the complete application package is submitted. The award will be available for payment during the semester the reward is requested. The payment however will not be paid unless the student is currently enrolled during the term of payment.
This is a one-time award. Students can receive this award once as an undergraduate, professional and graduate student. Students who attend both undergraduate, professional or graduate at the University of Florida are eligible for one award during the undergraduate period and one award during either the professional or graduate period.
The letter of application is the most important part of the application process. Please take the time to submit a letter that addresses what the grant will be used for (no tuition requests accepted), how much the item costs, and why you are looking to the Squitieri Grant for assistance. (Grants are generally for disability related expenses that are not covered by outside agencies - computers are typically not covered unless disability related.)
