*** It is important to note that when making comprehensive changes to academic programs that involve making changes to existing courses, adding new ones, and perhaps dropping others, the schedule for changing existing courses should be followed so all of the changes can be implemented simultaneously.

Cross-listed Courses

Cross-listed courses
Cross-listed courses, by definition, are the same except offered under two or more subject areas.  Cross-listed courses must match in description, credits, prerequisites, title, and components.  Cross-listed courses will not become effective until both (or all) courses appear in approved minutes as cross-listed. Courses numbered at the 1000 or 2000 level, General Education courses, and skill courses must also be noted as approved in University Senate Minutes.
Skill course changes    When courses with the same four digit numbers, i.e. non-skill and skill versions of the same course, have changes reflected in approved minutes, the changes will be made to all versions of that course simultaneously once the approval of the non-skill version appears in approved minutes and the approval of the skill version appears in approved Senate minutes.
