Moms Association
at the University of Illinois
The Moms Association was created in 1923 for "the purpose of promoting the welfare and interest of the University and its students through services and open communications on campus and throughout the state."
When your student accepts admission to the University of Illinois, you are officially a member of the Moms Association. (Likewise, there is a Dads Association in which fathers are automatically a member when their student accepts admission.) There are a lot of ways to get involved once you become part of the University of Illinois community. Below you will find a list of ways to be involved in the Moms Association, information about Moms Weekend - which all Moms Association members and their families are invited to, and a list of the Awards that the Association gives out.
Also, the Illini Union Parent Programs Office teams up with the Dads and Moms Associations to provide you helpful information about the University, about dealing with the transition of your student coming to college, and much more! The Moms Association wants you to enjoy these years as your student gets his or her education at the U of I, and wants to provide you with the resources and opportunities to make it the best 4 (or more) years it can be!
